对马修来说，教书不仅仅是一份工作； it’s a chance to share his love for learning and problem-solving.

“Understanding how HVAC systems work and why they function that way ultimately leads to effective troubleshooting,” he explains. “When you know how something should function, you can figure out how to fix it. I want to instill in my students the ability to break down complex issues.”

除了技术技能外，马修还旨在向学生介绍暖通空调行业的许多职业道路。

“There are more opportunities than just being a technician,” he says. “HVAC can be a steppingstone to engineering, project management, and other advanced roles. People should consider the long-term possibilities.”

马修认为，对于那些对事物如何工作感到好奇、热爱科学、对现实世界的问题解决感兴趣的人来说，暖通空调是一个很好的领域。

“HVAC is making a significant impact in the world in many ways,” he says. “If you want to understand how things function, this is a great career path.”
